Cottage in South Wales, Porthcawl

Glamorgan. Sleeps up to 2

This property is situated in a village location just three miles from the town of Brigend in South Wales. There is plenty to see and do in the area, whatever visitors interests are. Those who enjoy scenic walks in beautiful landscapes, for example, may want to spend some time exploring the Merthyr Mawr Sand Dunes, or perhaps pay a visit to Bryngarw Country Park. Or maybe a trip to the seaside resort of Porthcawl is more your style, with its seven beaches, traditional seafront fun fair, and Grand Pavilion Theatre. Those who enjoy shopping, dining, and tasting some of the local culture, will love the fact that both Cardiff and Swansea are within easy reach of the property, with both of them being around twenty miles away. (Please check admittance for the various attractions). A gate from the pavement leads guests to the front door of this charming five star cottage, bringing them directly to the welcoming lounge/diner which has been tastefully finished in an attractive shabby chic style and offers comfortable seating, a TV with Sky channels, and a window side dining table. The kitchen has been finished in a complementary style to the main living area and offers an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, wine cooler, and washing machine. Stairs lead up to the restful, elegantly styled bedroom on the first floor, where a king size bed sits under the exposed beams. The bathroom, on the ground floor, offers a shower over bath and WC. A door from the kitchen leads out to enclosed garden to the rear of the property, which is mainly set to lawn and has a raised decked area with garden furniture in the centre. There is roadside parking available on the street in front of the cottage.
