Enjoying an excellent location for relaxing with friends deep in the South Shropshire countryside, it's a perfect base for enjoying the festivals and events that the nearby historic town of Ludlow offers. Ludlow is a thriving market town, boasting nearly five hundred listed buildings in the town itself, with the original medieval street layout surviving almost unchanged. Situated on a cliff above the River Teme, it's best known for its September Food and Drink Festival and has a strong reputation for providing excellent local fayre year round. Walkers will enjoy trails from the door, with twelve acres of farmland to enjoy surrounding the barn and the Clee Hills and child friendly Mortimer Forest in easy reach. Step through the barn door into to find a large open plan entertaining space with wood burner, comfortable seating, plus a large dining table and stylish kitchen with electric range oven and gas hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and breakfast bar. There are four bedrooms, a super king size bedroom (which can be made into a twin bedroom by request at time of booking) on the ground floor, shower room with WC and utility area. Upstairs you will find a master bedroom with a super king size bed and en suite bathroom with a shower of the bath, and WC. A further super king size bedroom (which can be made into a twin bedroom by request at time of booking ) and a children s bunk bedroom with additional single bed. There is a further family bathroom upstairs with rainforest style shower and WC. Outside there is a large undercover outdoor kitchen area with BBQ. There is an additional entertainment barn with traditional bar finish, wood burner and darts board. There are two fire pits one down by the pond and the other in the middle of the upper field. The barn, semi detached with it smaller and equally luxurious twin, Tenbury Cottage, is set within 12 beautiful acres of farmland which guests are invited to enjoy, dogs are welcome.
