The cottage is set in the popular village of Bellingham, a great base if you want to explore Northumberland s treasures. You are also only 12 miles from Hadrian s Wall. Further afield there are more than 30 miles of beaches to explore, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, as well as lovely seaside villages to explore and not to be missed the magnificent Bamburgh Castle. Take a boat trip to the Farne Islands, rated as one of the top wildlife experiences in the country. There is also plenty to see if you want to stay local, Hareshaw Linn Walk a stunning walk through the countryside and the remains of the old ironworks that ends in a spectacular 30ft waterfall. Enter the property through the kitchen, entrance next to the parking bay, into the kitchen with ample storage cupboards, electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and microwave, and head through the pine door into the lounge and dining area, a real country cottage ambience awaits with the pine dining table, welsh dresser and a bookcase full of books, DVDs and board games to enjoy whilst toasting in front of the wood burner. Take the door out into the entrance hall where you will find coat hooks and room to put those muddy boots, the cottage front door takes you out to street level. Heading upstairs you will find one double bedroom, you will also find an additional good sized room with a single bed and wardrobe, on this floor you will also find a bright bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Enjoy a morning coffee or glass of wine in the evening on the outside bench. There is parking for one car in the off road parking space.
