From the property you are within walking distance of Ludlow s centre with a glut of local food producers and eateries, local artisans selling their bespoke wares as well as a weekly food market which is not to be missed. This vibrant town offers a year round events calendar celebrating food, crafts and theatre with the showcase for this being the Food Festival in September. If you are after some outdoor adventure, put on your hiking boots and walk from the door into the stunning Whitecliffe Common or Mortimer Forest, or in the warmer weather take a swim in the River Teme. If you have time to escape this vibrant town, there s much to see further afield, Stokesay Castle, Wenlock Priory and Severn Valley Railway. Drive through the gates and get your first glimpse of this spectacular private home with sympathetically landscaped gardens that take you right down to the water s edge. Enter the property on the lower ground floor, step into the entrance hall and leave the day behind. You are greeted by a uniquely designed bar area and a fantastic large open plan living/dining room with seating for up to 14 people. This is a beautiful space created for entertaining and further enhanced by the elegant interior. The living area has views of the river from the far end and architect designed arched windows offering views onto the garden. This is a perfect room for pre dinner drinks or to simply relax on a Sunday morning. Sliding doors lead onto a covered terrace with river views, soft seating and garden table and chairs that will comfortably sit 14 guests. From this space go through to the kitchen which was previously used to create Michelin starred food. It is well equipped with two electric ovens, three separate induction hobs, three sinks, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is also an additional tall fridge/freezer for extra capacity. For special occasions, you also have the option to hire a private chef to cook dinner, which can be arranged with the owners. There is also an additional cloakroom and WC on this floor. Take the staircase from the kitchen up to the ground floor where you find an area with a selection of books, and a snug/TV room with sofas making it ideal for children to hang out in. Also on the ground floor is the master bedroom suite, a luxurious and spacious room with a super king size bed and large glazed doors leading to a private balcony overlooking the river, TV and a separate sitting room with sofa bed and en suite bathroom and WC. Passing back through the snug/TV room you will have access to a utility room and another spacious bedroom suite with beautiful views of the river, super king size bed, sitting/dressing room, TV, kitchenette and en suite shower/steam room and WC. Back towards the snug/TV room is a private staircase which leads to another cosy bedroom, with king sized bed, small seating area and en suite bathroom (with bath only) and WC. The main staircase leads to the first floor where you will find a further two bedrooms: a super king size with magnificent views of the river and woodland, private sitting/dressing room, kitchenette and en suite shower/steam room and WC. The other bedroom on this floor is an open plan suite with views of the river and woodland, super king size bed, separate bathroom (with bath only) with WC and separate shower room. There is also a detached annexe to the side of the house located above the garage, with dual aspect views from the Juliet balcony or through the large floor to ceiling windows, both of which overlook the stunning river Teme. The annexe is an open plan area with super king size bed, seating area, TV and en suite bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. Step outside and enjoy the fantastic landscaped gardens with a variety of places for you to sit and enjoy the sun throughout the day. Immerse yourself in nature with the views and wildlife of the River Teme. An area for dining, along with a BBQ and fire pit make this house perfect for al fresco dining. In the evenings, the garden comes to life, with illuminated trees and a water feature. There is private parking behind a gate on the drive for five/six cars depending on the vehicle sizes.
