The town of Cavan is 7 miles, Dublin is 80 miles and Belfast 95 miles. There is pike fishing available on the owner’s land to the rear of the property. An excellent museum can be found in Ballyjamesduff, 8 miles, there is an indoor swimming pool and equestrian centre in Cavan, and walking, cycling and several golf courses close by. Cavan is a walkers’ paradise with places like the Cuilcagh Boardwalk, The Cavan Way, Dun A Ri Forest Park and Killykeen Forest Park just a few places to be explored. A little further afield is Florence Court House and Gardens and Marble Arch Global Geo Park which has UNESCO status. It is in a very central location for those who wish to use it as a touring base to explore the midland or Northern Ireland. Shops and pubs 2 miles, restaurant 4 miles.. Approximate distance to Dublin Airport is 96 km.
