It is a traditional, detached farmhouse that has been extended at both ends, resulting in an authentic but modern and extremely comfortable house. Parts of the original walls are still exposed and some of the overhead lintels are at the original height. Handmade antique oak floors throughout enhance this unique and elegant home. Together with all modern conveniences and stylish decoration result in a very user friendly house.

The village of Moycullen is an ideal base for anyone visiting the city of Galway, which is served by a bus at the ’top of the road’, and only 10 miles away. Galway city might be the ’City of the Tribes’ but it is also the city of the festivals - arts festival, racing festival, Festival of Literature, oyster festival, food festival, Baboro Childrens Festival, Film Fleadh and more! Clifden in the other direction also has an Arts Week and a pony show.
Moycullen is a pretty village with a weekly Friday farmers market, coffee shops, supermarket, pharmacy, several pubs and an award-winning restaurant. For those wishing to explore, Moycullen is close to the Wild Atlantic Way, Connemara, Aran Islands and The Burren, which all make lovely day trips. Brigits Garden and Aughnanure Castle are close by.

Connemara National Park has the Diamond Hill with various graded walks. The Twelve Bens await those who prefer higher climbs while there are miles of beautiful country roads in the area for peaceful walking. Walking tours can be arranged locally. There are three golf courses within a 10-mile radius and a riding centre. For those who prefer the water, there is plenty of it be it in the lake or sea. Fishing is abundant; Lough Corrib and Ross Lake, sea angling from Inverin, Roundstone and other spots. There are many award-winning beaches in the area, the closest being Silverstrand near Barna. Beach 8 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.. Approximate distance to Shannon airport is 105 km.
