Surrounded by nature with the spectacular Colligan Woods adjacent and the majestic Comeragh Mountains as a backdrop, yet just a short drive to the bustling harbour town of Dungarvan, 5 miles, with its beautiful sandy bay and vibrant nightlife. Each cottage has a large covered terrace overlooking the swimming pool, complete with a dual-fuel state of the art barbecue, perfect for al fresco dining whatever the weather. The friendly owners lives on-site and can offer advice on local attractions and places to see, such as one of Irelands most picturesque routes ’The Vee’ over the Knockmealdown Mountains, the magical Gaeltacht (Irish speaking) region of An Rinn with its cliff-top trails, heritage town of Lismore with its magnificent castle, weekly farmer’s market and ’Milennium Park’. Also worth a visit is Mount Mellary Abbey, along with many numerous festivals such as Festival of Food, Spraoi and Comeragh Challenge and, for golf enthusiasts, the Dungarvan ’Golfing Triangle’. Beach 5 miles. Shop and pub 2½ miles, restaurant 5 miles.
