There is also a lovely lake, 300m, just a short walk away. Their central position makes them a marvellous base for exploring any part of the country - that is if you can tear yourself away from the beautiful local scenery. Mullingar, a busy local town, is 5 miles away and Multyfarnham, a pretty village which has two pubs and two award-winning restaurants, is 3 miles away. Locally guests can enjoy fishing, walking, golf, or even a trip to the Franciscan Friary and grounds and Belvedere House and Gardens. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
