The Kinvara Suites are situated within a converted 18th-century stone hayloft. They are set back from the road in a secluded garden in the centre of the picturesque town of Kinvara at the head of Galway Bay, and 2 minutes’ walk from the quayside. An external staircase leads to the two suites, each have a south facing balcony, offering views of the countryside and the nearby Burren National Park. Each suite retains the uninterrupted form of the original hayloft, with quirky windows located within the existing opening. On the second floor, the pitched roof has been raised to form a high vaulted ceiling, and a strip of window runs around all four sides allowing the sun to glance in at all times of the day.
Kinvara Suites are in the heart of the village yet still secluded in a quiet, private garden. It is an ideal location for touring The Burren, Connemara and Galway as far as the Shannon River. There are country walks and sandy beaches nearby, and the area is renowned for seafood, especially oysters. East Galway boasts nine golf courses, and for surfers some of the best surfing in the world can be found at Fanore Beach. This is an ideal holiday spot for a couple and makes the perfect hideaway if you want to escape and chill for a week or two. Beach 2 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.. Approximate distance to Shannon Airport is 62.5 km.
