It offers walking trails at the perimeter of the 60-acre dry stock farm on which it is situated. Famed for a magnificent setting between its harbour and the Caha Mountains, Glengarriff has much to appeal to the holidaymaker. The superb Garnish Island Gardens, the Nature Reserve with fantastic walks and viewing points, the Bamboo Park, and, a short distance from the village, the Ewe Experience, are all well worth a visit.
