Take a boat trip across to the Saltee Islands or explore the stunning Ballyteigue Burrow Nature Reserve, which originates from the last ice age and extends to 5½ miles of sand dunes and wildlife. A little further afield, the vibrant town of Wexford, founded by the Vikings in 800AD and venue to the International Opera Festival, is within an easy 30-minute drive and well worth a visit. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards. . Approximate distance to Dublin Airport is 188 km.
