Seacliff is a development of delightful holiday homes nestling within the grounds of Dunmore East Golf Club which is on a headland above the ocean looking out towards Hook Head. Each of these delightful houses is attractively furnished and decorated. The living room has an open fire and patio doors lead outside to a seating area with garden furniture. They offer a peaceful and relaxed environment with the bonus of reduced green fees, (during the winter months the golf club opening hours are reduced, and clients can have 25% discount on normal green fees. A weekly pass can also be booked at reduced rate). The Lighthouse Café, adjacent to the properties and the Clubhouse, has a great little restaurant and bar and has wonderful panoramic views over the bay. A 300 yard walk down the hill brings you to a cove with golden sands and in another 200 yards you are at the pub. Dunmore East is a much sought after seaside village with pretty thatched cottages, a golden beach and a fishing harbour. There is a very popular sailing club and water sports adventure centre. The village also boasts lively pubs, restaurants, a park, tennis courts plus woodland walks, boat trips and fishing. Waterford city (12 miles) has numerous facilities including a cinema, theatre, museums, excellent shopping and the world famous crystal factory. For surfers and swimmers, the very lively resort of Tramore (10 miles) has surf schools, Splashworld, an indoor swimming complex and amusements and fun fair in the summer. Wexford can be reached by the Passage East Ferry which is a convenient way to explore the Hook Peninsula including the lighthouse and Tintern Abbey. . Approximate distance to Cork Airport is 142 km.
