The house nestles at the base of a small hill and has panoramic views across open countryside, including Beinn na Caillich and the Red Cuillin, the serene Loch Cill Chriosd and the spectacular Blà Bheinn with its majestic ridge. Eagle View’s central location makes the perfect base for you whether you come to the fabulous Isle of Skye to relax, try some of the many outdoor activities or tour around the island at your leisure to explore the mountains, caves, beaches and historic sites. For keen cyclists, there is an outside hose for washing down bikes and other equipment.
Towards the northern part of the island you will find Dunvegan with its historic castle and beautiful gardens. Stroll along to the stunning coral beach which is well worth the effort. Travel across the island and you will find Portree, the capital town, which offers the usual small town facilities and amenities with some great places to eat. Take a walk down to the picturesque harbour with its colourful houses. North of Portree you will reach the Trotternish Peninsula, famous for its dramatic rock formations and cliffs. Towards the southern end of the island you will reach the Sleat peninsula known as ’the garden of Skye’. Travel across the Skye bridge and visit some of the lovely villages of the west coast including Plockton, Gairloch and Ullapool. Amongst the many activities available are sailing and a large variety of watersports, mountain biking, fishing, hill walking and climbing, to name just a few, there is so much to see and do for all ages. For the less energetic, sit back, relax and unwind and enjoy the ever changing vistas from the comfort of your seat. Beach 4 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2½ miles.
