Forest Lodge Farmhouse, Brecon

Brecon Beacons. Sleeps up to 24

Forest Lodge Farmhouse is a Bunkhouse style big house for large groups wishing to holiday together. The house is not "very smart" so visitors can relax and not worry too much about children with sticky fingers or running around. There is a large lawned area in front of the house, ideal as a play area. Forest Lodge is an increasingly popular location for groups taking a self catering holiday. It is in a wonderful position with spectacular views of the Brecon Beacons and the beauty of the surrounding area with walks from the door. It is only 1 mile from the Brecon Beacons National Park Visitors Centre. There are magnificent views of Fan Frynach and Rhos Dringarth Mountains from the farmhouse, and across the common to the National Park Mountain Centre. Forest Lodge was once a very large farm, thus the size of the farmhouse, of some 2000 acres, but now reduced to 400 acres of farmland and many outbuildings. Brecon 5 miles. There is a good pub in the nearest village Libanus called The Tai'r Bull Inn but please call to book a meal.
