The main town of Dunoon is very close by ( 300 meters ) just a few minutes walk from the property.
There you can find plenty of very good restaurants, bars and cafes, shops, supermarkets all located on the beach, promenade front and town center...

Just 2-3 minutes walk from the apartment you will find yourself right in the heart of Dunoon where you will find anything you will need for your holidays...


The holiday apartment consists of a open plan kitchen diner, living room - salon area, spacious double bedroom, and bathroom suite.

The apartment sleeps 2 people very comfortably..

( Children 5 years old and under stay for free when using a cot or the existing King size bed in the bedroom...)

Fully equipped kitchen, unlimited very fast WIFI, Satellite TV, DVD player.

All guests have full use of the private apartment solely for themselves.

Guests are met when they check-in, and when they check-out. And of course if they need anything during their stay.

CHILDREN UP TO THE AGE OF 5 YEARS OLD CAN STAY FOR FREE, if using existing beds or a cott can be provided also for infants...

SMOKING IS ONLY ALLOWED ON THE OUTSIDE BALCONY-GARDEN AREA...

The apartment is located in a very nice, quiet residential street.
However the property is literally only a few hundred meters from the main tourist area, but in a quieter and relaxed area of Dunoon and has EVERYTHING you could possibly wish for whilst you're enjoying your holiday time. And best of all, it's all on your doorstep. ( 2-3 min walk )

A car isn't necessary as you have everything you need within walking distance.

However if you want to really see the Beautiful west coast of Scotland and get out and about, then a car is recommended

Local Information ( Dunoon )

The Waverley paddle steamer berths at the breakwater when visiting Dunoon during the Waverley's summer season.

Local wildlife includes seals, sea otters, dolphins, basking sharks, roe deer, red deer, red squirrels, and many species of birds.

Dunoon town and surrounding area are becoming recognised as a destination for outdoor pursuits, including walking, running, golfing, kayaking, sailing, fishing, climbing, triathlon and mountain biking.

Trails (walks, running and mountain biking) thread through the hills surrounding Dunoon. Corlarach Hill has way-marked routes for walkers, mountain biking and horse riders.These trails are located next to the Bishop's Glen.

Puck's Glen is a popular short walk set in the hills close to Benmore Botanic Gardens. A tumbling burn, criss-crossed by bridges, is enclosed by rocky walls heavily hung with mosses and overshadowed by dense trees. The walk has clear, waymarked paths.

The town of Dunoon has won many Beautiful Scotland Awards. A very picturesque coastal town with some breathtaking views.
The town center hosts a variety of supermarkets, shops, bars, restaurants and business including a bakers, delicatessen, coffee shops, take away food shops, ice cream parlors, and general stores, all just a short walk away from the holiday apartment.
The golf clubs and indoor and outdoor bowling clubs can be found close by and access too many more outdoor activities is on your doorstep.

The Ferry terminal (foot passengers) is a short walk away, while the car and passenger ferry is just a short drive away. There are regular buses from the town, taking you to Glasgow and around the Cowal peninsula.

Dunoon town centre is only a short walk away.
Dunoon is a seaside, coastal town and it is the maritime gateway to the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. The town has two supermarkets; a traditional high street with many independent shops as well as national chains, there is a weekly market. The local area is well served by cafes, bars and restaurants of all types. The town has a hospital, cinema, leisure centre with swimming pool, museum, arts and cultural centre and boasts many sporting, social and special interest clubs.

Dunoon is accessible by road or by one of two ferry routes from Gourock. Trains from Glasgow connect with the Argyll Ferry, passenger only service, from Gourock pier with 2 boats per hour throughout the day. The Western Ferry takes cars and passengers and runs up to 4 boats per hour. Buses run throughout the day from Dunoon to the centre of Glasgow.
