222 is located just a minute off the main A48 (which links directly the the M4) and is located to the east of Cardiff. It is extremely convenient for access into the city centre, the University Hospital of Wales, around Cardiff and beyond. There is a bus stop almost outside the door and Cardiff East Park & Ride is a minute away, this service runs every 15 minutes and aided by the designated bus/taxi lanes will whisk you into the City Centre in 15 to 20 minutes at a fraction of the cost of parking in town. The house benefits from 2 designated car parking spaces at the rear and free street parking to the front, there is a nearby OneStop store and Post Office for essentials and also Waitrose, Lidl and Aldi stores a short drive away. There are 2 public houses approximately 10 minutes walk from the house and 3 takeaways alongside the OneStop. There are further food outlets at the A48 junction - Fintans Fish & Chips, Dominoes & Greggs and Frankie & Benny's and TGI Fridays on Newport Road which is 5 minutes drive away. The house benefits from a bathroom with overhead shower on the first floor, an en suite shower room on the 2nd floor and an additional downstairs toilet. There are 4 bedrooms - 2 have double beds with wardrobes and the 2 twins have either a folding chair bed or a pull out trundle bed to accommodate a maximum of 3 in each room, both rooms have hanging space/storage. The beds and mattresses are all brand new as is the bed linen and towels following a recent refurbishment. There is also a travel cot, highchair & stair gate available if required. The modern kitchen is kitted out with a fridge/freezer, gas cooker, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and Alessi crockery/glassware along with cooking pans & utensils etc. The comfortable lounge area has a large sofa and corner seat and large beanbag, there is a widescreen Smart HDTV with Freeview, Playstation, Nintendo Wii and a router which provides free internet access within the house, there are also games and books available. The adjoining conservatory has a large table, chairs and bench seating and also benefits from underfloor heating and fairy lights. The rear garden is mainly decked and provides access for those guests using the rear car park spaces and has a motion sensor light for after dark arrivals. There is a rotary washing line for guests to use if required.

This vacation home is located in Pentwyn, a neighborhood in Cardiff, and is in the mountains and on the waterfront. Cardiff Bay and Cardiff Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those in the mood for shopping can visit Capitol Shopping Centre and St. David's. Traveling with kids?
