Norfolk. Sleeps up to 9

This lovely detached retreat centrally located in Burnham Market and just a hop, skip and a jump from all the village amenities and eateries, is exceptionally spacious both inside and out. Both stylish and inviting it is an ideal place for larger family gatherings or a group of friends wanting to get away from it all.

Sleeping up to nine, there's plenty of space inside and a large wrap-around garden too. With oodles of charm and well equipped on all levels, it delivers on many fronts being close to amenities and in walking distance of pubs and restaurants and within easy reach of the beaches too at nearby Brancaster and Burnham Overy Staithe. The beaches at Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham are just a short drive away too.

Red Gables has two spacious living areas to relax and unwind in, with antique furnishings, contemporary touches in places and lovely soft furnishings and curtains, this luxury abode is sure to make you feel at home from the moment you step inside.

With a spacious hallway leading into the large dining kitchen with large windows and french doors, you will love the light which floods in from the south west garden. There's plenty of equipment for the kitchen connoisseur and even a sit up bar, should you want an impromptu get-together whilst preparing your supper. The dining room is just off the kitchen and has a reclaimed dining table.

The first sitting room boasts deep, comfy sofas in blue hues clustered around the magnificent wood burning stove - perfect for long evenings filled with conversation and a drink or two! The second living area/family room at the far end of the property is much more relaxed and child-friendly so perfect as a children’s den or chill-out zone. With its Scandi feel - this is the place to catch up on your favourite series or for the children to hunker down to watch a film or play games.

The light wooden flooring, brightly coloured cushions and soft furnishings give a very different ambience and there is a door which leads out onto the rear patio and garden. Above the second sitting area and up the staircase, you'll find the fourth bedroom with three 2ft 6in beds. The three other bedrooms are located downstairs, each individually designed and exceptionally comfortable with luxury mattresses, linens, pillows and duvets. All rooms have views of the garden and there are en-suites to two bedrooms and a family bathroom. The master bedroom is spacious and light and features a king-size bed, doors to the garden and an en suite bathroom with shower over, while bedroom two has two single beds and an en-suite shower room. The third bedroom has a pair of single beds, which is serviced by the family bathroom. There's lots of hot water for baths and showers after a day out exploring and heated towel rails are on hand to ensure towels are toasty and warm. If the children want an alternative to showering indoors, there is even an outside shower to wash the sand off those salty toes.

You'll not want for outside space at Red Gables, with a lawn (perfect for family games) and a table and benches for a spot of al-fresco dining. There is also a barbecue and deck chairs for lazing away a sunny afternoon if you've come back from the beach early. Please be aware, the garden is not enclosed. The property is accessed via a narrow private hedge-lined gravel driveway and there is plenty of parking outside the house.
