The cottages have been renovated to a very high standard and are situated in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park on the mountain road between Aber Village and Pontsticill. The cottages are in the Taf Fechan forest with beautiful rivers, waterfalls and reservoirs close-by. There is fishing available with permits in the reservoirs and excellent opportunities for bird watching. The position of the cottages offer peace, tranquillity and beautiful walks amongst the most spectacular scenery. they nestle next to a forestry area 1000 ft above sea level. Ponsticill and Pentwyn Reservoirs, Pen-y-Fan and the Beacons are within walking distance. The Taff Trail cycle route passes the cottages. The Brecon Mountain Railway is also nearby. The cottages are an ideal base for bird watchers, steam train enthusiasts, fishermen, cyclists and walkers. There is ample ground to walk or relax in, including access to the river.
Cottage Accommodation
Sleeps 2 plus cot, 1 King Size
The loft is reached via stone steps to a converted entrance porch. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, dining table and chairs. There is a spacious sitting room with coal burning stove, sofas, Freeview TV, DVD and CD player.
Bedroom 1: The spacious bedroom has a king size bed and sofa.
The Bathroom: An en suite to the bedroom and has a bath with shower over, bidet, handbasin and toilet.
The loft has been sympathetically converted retaining the thick stone walls and many oak beams. It has wooden block floors through out and all the windows are double glazed. Pets welcome.

The cottages form part of the courtyard which provide ample parking. There is a shared laundry room well equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.
