Y Llaethdy is the Welsh word for Dairy or milking shed. A few years ago, we converted our barns into luxury self-catering accommodation. We hired local craftsmen and used the latest environmental materials and techniques. This barn now offers spacious open plan living and comprises:

The barns are located in a quiet rural location so noise at night must be kept to a minimum.


Check in day is Friday or Monday for short breaks and Friday for 7 night stays

No single sex groups.

Any large groups (not families) of 7 persons or over need to contact (EMAIL HIDDEN) prior to booking and a security deposit of £500 may be required.

Rural wi-fi can be slow and frequently lose signal.

This vacation home is located in Llanrhidian Higher, a neighborhood in Swansea, and is in a rural area. Pennard Golf Course and Swansea Marina are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those in the mood for shopping can visit Swansea Market and Quadrant Shopping Centre. Traveling with kids? Consider WWT Llanelli Wetland Centre and Blackpill Lido.
