Light, airy 1st Floor Apartment with delightful views over bay and Purbeck Hills, Swanage

Dorset. Sleeps up to 2

Close to the town, beach and coastal path, this flat is peaceful and full of light with different sea, hill and beach views to enjoy from each room. The furnishings are comfortably modern with colourful rugs. The flat consists of two 'wings' (with a kitchen you can eat in, a large sitting room, and bedroom) - this unusual orientation makes it very spacious and brings the sun in all the day and year round. Central heating makes it cosy in the winter. The position is perfect for those who want to set off along the SW coastal path or Purbeck Way, take the steam train to Corfe Castle, or spend the day on the beach then retreat to the peace and quiet of Barnacles before trying the many pubs and eating places in town. Between Swanage and Lulworth the coastal scenery is dramatic and craggy with beaches and old stone quarries. Swanage also has a variety of festivals including Purbeck Art Weeks Festival at the end of May, the popular Jazz Festival in July, the Purbeck International Chamber Music Festival in early September, and the famous Purbeck Film Festival in October.

Located in Swanage, this condo is by the sea. Swanage Museum and Heritage Centre and Langton Matravers Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Poole Harbour and Swanage Pier. Sandbanks Beach and The Blue Pool and Tea House are also worth visiting. Scuba diving and snorkeling offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and hiking nearby.
