Downstairs there is a cosy living room with gas stove effect fire and TV, as well as the ’heart of the home’ which is a large, open plan dining room/kitchen with breakfast bar, central island, a large dining table for more formal dining and a TV. As there is a bedroom and shower room on the ground floor, this property is ideal for those travelling with family or friends that are less mobile, and whilst there are steps up to the front door of the property, it can be accessed from the rear via a ramp. Outside there is a pleasant garden with patio, barbecue, lawned area and hot tub. There is also an external games room, ideal for keeping the children amused on a rainy day.

Birchfield is located in the Denbighshire village of Rhuallt in the Clwydian mountain range which is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There is a bar and restaurant just across the road, which is a popular venue for weddings and events. St Asaph, which is the UK’s second smallest city, is 2 miles away and here you will find a variety of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants as well as the cathedral which dates back to AD560 and is the smallest cathedral in Britain. Holywell, 9 miles, which is known as the ‘Lourdes of Wales’, also has a good selection of shops, pubs and eateries.

The area is very popular with walkers and cyclists, and there are lots of great walks and trails in the area including Offa’s Dyke path which is close by. Other activities available in the area include golf, horse riding and fishing.

Due to its proximity to the A55, Birchfield is the ideal touring base with easy access into Chester, 28 miles, the Victorian seaside town of Llandudno and the Great Orme, 22 miles, Snowdonia, 30 miles, Colwyn Bay, 15 miles, and the Conwy Valley, 20 miles. You can even get to Anglesey in under an hour by car. Great days out for families with children include Chester Zoo and Blue Planet Aquarium which can both be reached in 30 minutes by car. The beaches of North Wales are also very accessible. Rhyl and Prestatyn are just 8 miles away and Talacre is 12 miles. With so much to see and do Birchfield really does offer something for everyone and is the perfect base for a fun filled family holiday. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 50 yards.
