Tove Valley Farm Cottages are only a short walk to the centre of Towcester, approximately a mile away, which has many local pubs and restaurants serving food. Being close to the borders of Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, places of interest in the area such as Bletchley Park, made famous in WWII, Towcester Races, Stowe House and gardens, Althorpe (Princess Diana’s home), Salcey Forest Tree Top Walk, Castle Ashby House and Canons Ashby (NT). For motorsport enthusiasts, Silverstone Race Circuit is nearby.
There is a good range of small shops and restaurants in the historic market town of Stony Stratford, 8 miles. For canal enthusiasts the Grand Union Canal is nearby with many scenic walks and pubs along the towpaths. The Stoke Bruene Canal Museum is 2-minute drive. There are plenty of places to visit and explore with walking and cycle routes throughout this area, and for those wishing to explore further afield, Stratford-upon-Avon is less than an hour’s drive away. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
