This historic market town offers guests the chance to visit many of the local attractions including Shakespeare’s birthplace, Anne Hathaway’s cottage, Mary Arden’s farm and also the world-renowned Royal Shakespeare Theatre which sits right on the banks of the picturesque River Avon. Also great for a shopping trip, there are plenty of top quality boutiques, shops, tea shops, restaurants, bistros and pubs to explore and enjoy. Within an easy drive are historic Warwick, with its ancient castle and grounds, as well as Royal Leamington Spa, Kenilworth, Droitwich Spa, Alcester and Henley-in-Arden. A little further afield guests will find the magnificent cathedral cities of Worcester and Oxford as well as Regency Cheltenham, with its racecourse, Birmingham NEC, Chipping Norton, Banbury, Evesham and Bicester.
