These welcoming, semi-detached holiday cottages (refs W43491 and W43492) are situated on a quiet road, just a 5-minute walk from the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water. There is a large, enclosed, south-facing garden, making these cottages ideal for family holidays. A favourite pre-breakfast pastime is to stroll down to the main street to collect the newspaper and feed the ducks. Bourton-on-the-Water is a quintessentially English village, with traditional tea shops, gift shops, restaurants and pubs. The gentle River Windrush meanders through the village with the village green on either side, here you can sit, relax and watch the world go by. In December, Bourton is magical with the illuminated tree standing in the middle of the river. For the more energetic, swimming, horse riding, fishing, golf, a childrens play barn and a host of other activities are available locally. Visit The Cotswold Motor Museum, home to TVs ’Brum’, Birdland and The Cotswold Pottery. Cheltenham, Oxford and Cirencester, as well as castles, stately homes and an arboretum make a fantastic day out.
