It is set within the rural crofting township of Upper Edinbane and has views over Loch Greshornish and the open countryside. This peaceful and tranquil place offers a true ’get away from it all’ experience, whether you go out exploring or just enjoy the comfort of Springbank. Edinbane is only a 15-minute drive from Portree, the Island’s capital, where you will find a variety of shops. The Fingal Centre which has a swimming pool, climbing wall and a gym as well as the Aros Centre which hosts the RSPB Sea Eagle Exhibition, cinema and various music events are well worth a visit. There are also boat trips from the harbour. Dunvegan is only a short drive away where you will find Dunvegan Castle, home to the Clan MacLeod, coral beaches and the Giant Angus MacAskill Museum. The island has a range of activities for you to enjoy including, the Talisker Distillery, the Skye Museum of Island Life and Neist Point Lighthouse. There are lovely coastal walks and you can climb the MacLeod’s Tables. Beach 13 miles. Shop 8 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
