South Lawn Coach House is located in the lovely village of Dore and lies within the grounds of the owner’s gated home. This detached cottage is stone-built and only a 5-minute walk from the village centre, which is home to plenty of restaurants, pubs, cafés and shops. Although officially Sheffield, Dore is located on the edge of the stunning Peak District National Park, making it a magnet for outdoor enthusiasts wanting to explore the surrounding countryside. An abundance of popular Peak District towns and villages can be reached within a half hour drive, such as Bakewell, home to the magnificent Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, Hathersage, renowned for its links to Robin Hood and home to an outdoor swimming pool, and the beautiful honey pot village of Castleton. Gulliver’s World and Bakewell market are also well worth a visit. Dore train station is within 1 mile from the property and offers direct services to the city of Sheffield in less than 10 minutes, or the wonderful Peak District villages of Hope and Edale in half an hour. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
