Utility area: With freezer and washing machine.. First Floor:

Shower room: With walk-in shower and toilet.. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included, remainder at £5 per basket. Cot and highchair available on request. Welcome pack and doggy extras.. Enclosed lawned garden with sitting-out area, garden furniture and gas BBQ. Bike store. Private parking for 1 car; additional on road parking. No smoking.. Situated on the Isle of Cumbrae, this quirky, detached wooden cottage simply oozes charm. Adjacent to the owner’s home, it lies just a 5-minute walk from the shoreline and the sandy beach, which has tropical palms fronting the promenade, and yachts moored out in the sheltered bay. Millport itself offers cafés, shops, bars and a bistro, and is home to Europe’s smallest cathedral and the narrowest house in the UK. The Isle of Cumbrae offers a truly relaxing escape, and is hugely popular with cyclists and walkers, yet is only a short ferry crossing from Largs on the Ayrshire coast. A haven for wildlife, the island attracts migrant birds from around the world, and the flora is equally varied; a visit to the island’s marine research station, with its museum and aquarium, is a must. There is a watersports centre on the island, with various courses available including kayaking and canoeing. The main Newton Bay offers sheltered anchorages and moorings. Beach 200 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
