Explore castles and stately homes including Scone Palace and Glamis Castle, the latter childhood home of the Queen Mother, the birthplace of Princess Margaret and the setting for Shakespeare’s Macbeth. There are fantastic beaches at Lunan Bay and Montrose, and serious golfers will love the challenge at Carnoustie and St Andrews courses, both within easy reach. There is quick and easy access to Royal Deeside and the Scottish Highlands beyond. The property is ideally situated for day trips to many of Scotland’s favourite attractions within Angus, Perthshire, Fife and beyond. All four of Scotland’s major cities, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee and Aberdeen, are within easy reach, as are the Highland Perthshire towns of Pitlochry, Dunkeld, Aberfeldy and Crieff.
