This lovely bright and spacious single storey cottage is located only a short stroll from the beautiful rough shoreline and enjoys lovely sea views.. Ground Floor:
Accommodation is all at ground floor level, heated by electric and comprises:
Lounge/Diner: With open fire, TV and DVD
Kitchen: With electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with icebox, washer/dryer and dishwasher.
Bedroom 1: With double bed
Bedroom 2: With double bed and single bed
Shower room: With walk-in-shower, WC and wash basin.
 . Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. First basket of coal supplied (additional coal can be purchased in Port Ellen). Cot and high chair available on request. . On street parking for 2 cars. Enclosed private garden with outdoor furniture. No smoking.
The Isle of Islay is accessible by air or by ferry. The Caledonian MacBrayne ferry runs from Kennacraig to either Port Ellen or Port Askaig on the Isle of Islay. The trip takes approx 2 hours. Alternatively, during the summer you can take the ferry on selective days from Oban to Port Askaig. Flybe has regular flights departing from Glasgow airport to Islay and car hire is available on the island.. Ian’s House is set in the grounds of Laphroaig Distillery on the south end of Islay. This lovely bright and spacious semi detached, single storey cottage is located within a small cul-de-sac and is only a short stroll down to the beautiful rough shoreline and distillery itself. The lounge enjoys a lovely sea view, and boasts a cosy open fire ensuring a warm welcome awaits guests whatever the season. The kitchen is fully fitted with all the facilities you require. The two large bedrooms provide lots of space and the garden is fully enclosed and private. The cottage has strong distillery links and was named after Ian, a cooper at Laphroaig. The distillery itself has a great visitor centre, as do all the 7 principal malt distilleries on the island.
