Tucked away in a very pretty, secluded courtyard in the grounds of the owner’s home, this traditional detached holiday cottage was originally the dairy of Abbey Farm. No longer a farm now it lies in the quiet west end of the attractive seaside town of North Berwick just 5 minutes’ walk to the beach, harbour and town centre. And with no Wi-Fi, you really can getaway from it all in this fantastic cottage. Edinburgh is 30 minutes by train for hassle free enjoyment of the city. Visit the Scottish Seabird Centre, the National Museum of Flight, Tantallon Castle which is a spectacular ruin, take a boat trip to the Bass Rock or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the aptly named, Retreat Cottage. There is an unrivalled choice of golf courses nearby. Beach ½ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
