An ideal location for exploring the Moray Firth, with its wonderful beaches and coastline renowned for dolphin spotting (visit the Spey Bay Dolphin Centre – 8 miles), mild sunny climate and excellent golf courses. Buckie has a busy harbour where boat trips can be taken to observe the marine and bird life. Inland, follow the Whisky Trail amongst stunning scenery and treat yourself to a dram. Elgin, with its Cashmere Visitor Centre and historic cathedral, is well worth a visit and there are many castles to explore in the surrounding area. Further activities include indoor sports, pony trekking, swimming and sea angling. Beach 2 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
