A horseshoe-shaped, single storey barn conversion with privacy, Glebe Court lies on the outskirts of Ellingham, an attractive, quiet village situated between Alnwick and the coast.
Beaches can be found within a short drive, at either Seahouses or Beadnell, or a couple of minutes further north and reach the vast golden expanse of Bamburgh beach with its splendid backdrop of Bamburgh Castle. Beadnell Bay offers many surfing and diving opportunities, while boat trips can be taken from Seahouses harbour across to the Farne Islands to see the renowned seals, puffins and terns. Drive only 15 minutes south from Glebe Court and discover the traditional market town of Alnwick, also home to Alnwick Castle, Alnwick Garden and the Duke of Northumberland. Ellingham village itself has a multitude of countryside walks, local church and a traditional village pub, The Pack Horse Inn, only a few minutes' walk from the cottage.
Glebe Court could provide a perfect base for your stay in Northumberland, particularly if you are coming to any weddings or special events at nearby Ellingham Hall a short walk from the cottage, or at Doxford Hall , Doxford Barns, Newton Hall, Beadnell or Bamburgh.
