Drive only 15 minutes south from Glebe Court and discover the traditional market town of Alnwick, also home to Alnwick Castle, Alnwick Garden and the Duke of Northumberland. Ellingham village itself has a multitude of countryside walks, local church and a traditional village pub, The Pack Horse Inn, only a few minutes' walk from the cottage.
Glebe Court could provide a perfect base for your stay in Northumberland, particularly if you are coming to any weddings or special events at nearby Ellingham Hall a short walk from the cottage, or at Doxford Hall , Doxford Barns, Newton Hall, Beadnell or Bamburgh.
