Eco Retreats offer canvas holidays in a tipi (teepee) or yurt – a wonderfully relaxing way to escape the pressures of modern life.
Our site is located in a breathtakingly beautiful valley, deep in the heart of the Dyfi Forest, one of the UK’s largest forests. Here you’ll find the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the tranquillity of the natural surroundings, far removed from the outside world.
We have been offering ‘glamping’ holidays since 2004 (before the phrase was even coined!) and we have a wealth of experience in ensuring that you enjoy a magical and refreshing stay.
Each of our tipis or yurts is situated in its own secluded and spacious location, spread out over more than 50 acres. You really can make the most of the space to relax and reconnect to yourself and your loved ones, whether you’re enjoying a glamping experience with the whole family, just coming with your partner or simply seeking a peaceful retreat by yourself.
We combine the joy of living deep in the natural world with the luxury of a well equipped and lovingly furnished space. In your tipi or yurt you’ll find everything you need for a restful stay, including a fire both inside and out, sheepskin rugs, romantic fabrics and a comfy double bed. Your own private loo and shower facilities are just outside.
We’re several miles from the nearest houses, so we don’t provide electricity or wi-fi! Instead you’ll find the comfort of spending time away from all the usual gadgets that fill our lives and the space to appreciate the streams and woods, the crackling of the fire and the great outdoors to roam free.
To help you fully unwind we also offer the benefits of holistic therapy. As part of our full package you can receive a gentle therapy session, usually Reiki, and also take part in a twilight meditation. We also offer tickets for the fascinating ‘Centre for Alternative Technology’.
We are passionate in our commitment to the environment, in particular the land where we are based, and really hope to give you the chance to rediscover the magic of nature.
