The cottage is situated on the edge of the village of Abbotsham, located between the Elizabethan port of Bideford and the world famous fishing village of Clovelly . A character thatched pub serving good food is within walking distance and there is a village shop and post office. The South West Coastal Path offering superb panoramic views and miles of cliff top coastal walks is a pleasant 15 minute walk from the cottage. The beach resort of Westward Ho! with its wide surfing beach, championship golf course and the Northam Burrows Nature Reserve is only a 5 minute drive. An ideal location for exploring this beautiful Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with a good choice of activites to suit all the family including walking and cycling along the Tarka Trail, visits to the RHS gardens at Rosemoor, experiencing glass blowing at Dartington Crystal and enjoying a day out at one of North Devon's family attractions.
