A most desirable location overlooking the East Lyn River in the delightful coastal village of Lynmouth. The cottage is just a short stroll from the picturesque pebble beach and village centre with its harbour, riverside gardens, manor green, tennis courts, shops, restaurants and choice of pubs. The famous water powered cliff railway gives access to the twin village of Lynton with its further amenities including bowls and cinema in season. Delightful country and coastal walks surround the property with fishing and horse riding also available locally. An ideal location to explore the whole of Exmoor by foot, horseback or car with picturesque beauty spots such as the Valley of Rocks, Hunters Inn, Porlock Weir and the Doone Valley all easily accessible.
This riverside cottage offers lovely views down the valley of the East Lyn River towards the sea. It provides a cosy retreat at the end of the day exploring this wonderful part of North Devon with storage heating, electric fires and a woodburner to provide warmth in the cooler periods (logs available locally). The accommodation is laid out over three storeys and is very comfortably furnished and well equipped throughout. Three bedrooms - Kingsize double with fitted wardrobes and river views and a twin bedded room on the first floor. Further compact twin bedded on the lower ground floor with river views and an ensuite shower room/wc. First floor fully tiled bathroom/wc with hand shower attachment. Very comfortable living room with woodburner, TV, DVD, Video, CD player and river views. Further small living room on lower ground floor with river views, electric fire in feature fireplace, TV and Video player and door to riverside pathway. Fully fitted kitchen/diner with river views, electric cooker + extractor, microwave, small table top freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Short pathway to small private patio and garden area with garden furniture and offering wonderful views over the river and down the valley towards the sea, (neighbour has access through to drying area). Garage parking for one car and further parking available in the village.
