Located on the fringe of this charming village, within easy access of the character pubs/restaurants (one adjacent), stores and the wide sandy surfing beach. Surf hire and instruction, riding stables and an indoor flume pool are also available within the village, which is backed by miles of spectacular coastal walking along National Trust headlands, stretching as far as the equally fine sandy beach at Putsborough. The famous championship golf links course at Saunton is within a 5 minute drive, with all the historic market town amenities of Barnstaple, including high street stores, cinema, go-karting, ten pin bowling and an excellent tennis and leisure centre, just 15 minutes beyond.
Accommodation is comfortably furnished and well equipped including free wi-fi connection, double glazing and oil fired central heating throughout. Three bedrooms: two king-size doubles, each with fitted wardrobes (both rooms will accommodate a cot - not supplied), and room with stacking beds, offering a single, twin or double conversion. Bathroom with elec shower over bath, handbasin, and separate wc. Further cloakroom/wc off ground floor utiity room. Very comfortable and cosy living room with woodburner-effect elec fire in stone fireplace, satellite TV, DVD, Nintendo Wii with 'Fit' package, and CD/radio. Dual aspect fully fitted kitchen/diner with limed oak units and dresser, oak and terracotta tiled flooring and oil fired Alpha cooking range and extractor, microwave, two fridges and dishwasher. Utility room off with washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. Small front entrance porch, ideal for boots leading to small study area with elec leather 'massage chair' and library. Small walled front area, and large fully enclosed south-facing rear patio garden with garden furniture, gas barbecue, small pond (netted for safety), and exterior lighting. Unrestricted roadside parking closeby and public car park by the village hall (approx 5 minute walk).
