Fish Lodge Bothy, Tonbridge

Kent. Sleeps up to 6

This impressive conversion has been designed and finished with great flair - the solid oak floors, doors and furnishings exude quality, the retention of brick flooring in the hall and kitchen plus masses of original beams add to the great charm and character of Fish Lodge Bothy. Its location down a private lane off the A21, overlooking the parkland and lake of Somerhill Estate is perfect - one mile from Tonbridge - with its medieval castle, indoor-outdoor swimming pool, canoe hire on the river and also close to Royal Tunbridge Wells - for the famous Pantiles, theatre and great shopping. You can follow the footpaths through the parkland to nearby All Saints Tudeley Church with its twelve glorious stained glass windows designed by Marc Chagall or take a trip to nearby Bewl Water for sailing, windsurfing or "Go Ape" in wonderful Bedgebury Pinetum - visit historic Penshurst Place, Hever Castle, Chartwell and Scotney Castle - you really will be spoilt for choice! Also - trains take only  thirty five minutes from Tonbridge to London so where better to base your holiday in the wonderful Garden of England? Shop: 1 mile Pub: 0.2 mile Coast: 30 miles
