The village of Hickling is on the edge of Hickling Broad, which is the largest of the Broads and is popular for boating and windsurfing. The area is a haven for ornithologists, nature lovers and walkers, with beautiful countryside all around. Cyclists will love the quiet lanes, with a number of places offering cycle hire. Lovely sandy beaches can be found at Waxham and Sea Palling, which are just three miles away, and there is easy access to the whole of Norfolk's rich and diverse coastline. The village has two pubs serving food and further facilities are a short drive away in Stalham.


This very pretty detached cottage is quietly situated, on the edge of the village, near to the church. It has character features including beamed ceilings and an inglenook fireplace and is furnished and equipped to a very high standard. It also has a lovely courtyard garden. Shop: 2 miles Pub: 0.5 miles
