A charming detached family house tucked away in a peaceful location just minutes from the hub of thi, Burnham Market

Norfolk. Sleeps up to 8

A charming detached family house tucked away in a peaceful location just minutes from the hub of this ever popular North Norfolk village and only a short drive away from some fabulous local beaches.

Beacon Lodge has the ambience of a country house hotel - relaxed, comfortable, easy living - both inside and out. Set in glorious gardens, the house enjoys a superb position within the village. Located on Herrings Lane (often referred to as Millionaire's Row!) you have very easy access to the many amenities of Burnham Market - boutiques, fishmonger, butcher, baker, hardware store, wine shop, galleries, restaurants and pubs - right on the doorstep.

This is the ideal house for a family staycation, offering plenty of room for everyone to spread out, both in the house and garden. The entrance door leads into a rather grand spacious hallway which forms the centre of the house. A right turn takes you into an inviting sitting room with open fire, and sunny conservatory off, giving access to the garden. The adjoining equally spacious dining room, also with doors to the garden, continues through to the kitchen. There are four bedrooms - one downstairs (twin) and three upstairs (king, twin and single) and two bathrooms upstairs (one is en-suite), plus a cloakroom on the ground floor. The garden is enclosed with walling and fencing - perfect for children and dogs to play safely, while parents relax.

If you can tear yourself away from the house and village, there is so much to see and do without having to travel too far. The Coasthopper bus service stops on the village green throughout the year on a regular basis, so you can even leave your car behind. Visit beautiful beaches, Palladian country houses, witness stunning birdlife on the marshes (skeins of pink footed geese with their haunting call will pass over the house October-February), all the other pretty villages along the coast and enjoy some deliciously fresh local produce.
