Summer guests can enjoy the local village music festival, or the Beltane Festival in Peebles, or simply soak up the history, architecture and wonderful independent shopping opportunities in the region's countryside market towns and villages in this unspoilt region. Wander along the gravel driveway and step inside the grand entrance of this welcoming property which has a front hall where you can decant all your boots, brollies, caps and coats, before heading into the main spacious hall reception and onwards to the comfortable living space of this historic home featuring charming country style furnishings, several period feature fireplaces, wall art, and stylish contemporary touches. Curl up on the sofa, delve into a book from the main library area and enjoy the warmth from the wood burner and the view from the bay windows.
