The property is a mere 2 mile walk to the Brecon Beacons Visitor Centre which is a good place to start, full of information on local walks, cycle routes and attractions, and has an excellent cafe. Head out exploring the many local trails on foot, bike, or even horseback from one of the many pony centres nearby. Refuel at local pubs in Libanus, 2 miles and Sennybridge, 5 miles from the house, or head into Brecon, 7 miles, for supermarkets, restaurants and shops, plus a leisure centre with pool. This bunkhouse style accomodation offers simple accomdation perfect for large groups. Enter into a long tiled hallway with plenty of space for bags, coats, shoes, boots and outdoor gear. The large kitchen has ample countertops and a kitchen table too. Theres a an oversized Aga and electric oven plus a dining room attached with tables and benches for all. Spread out in the evenings, with board games and puzzles at the tables or a movie in the living room in front of the toasty wood burner. With a second sitting room next door, there s enough room for everyone to find their own spot. A useful utility room completes the downstairs facilities, with washing machine, tumble dryer and drying space. Upstairs, there are six bright bedrooms in all, each with great character, some feature original windows, floorboards or ceiling beams. Two large bedrooms house six single beds and a handbasin each, while another large room has five single beds and an en suite shower room. Three further rooms each have double beds, one with an additional single bed. There are two family bathrooms with baths and showers, and an extra WC. Outside, rolling lawns make the perfect pitch for rounders, cricket or football tournaments, and the enclosed grounds help to keep young children and dogs safe.
