This property is situated in the northern area of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, surrounded by breath taking countryside views. Nine miles south of the property, the attractive market town of Helmsley is a fantastic place for a day trip, which not only offers an interesting range of shops and eateries, but is also home to the beautiful Rievaulx Abbey, and the National Centre for Birds of Prey, as well as a thriving arts centre where there is a cinema, theatre, and exhibition space. Further afield, the seaside town of Whitby is less than an hour s drive from the cottage, where visitors can visit the atmospheric abbey and, if they are feeling brave, participate in the eerie Dracula Experience. It is easy for guests to make themselves at home in this barn conversion property, as the front door opens directly into the welcoming kitchen/diner, a spacious room with a farmhouse style dining table and all the equipment that guests will need including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, and dishwasher. One of the bedrooms can also be found on the ground floor: a restful twin room, next to which there is a shower room with a walk in shower and WC. Stairs lead from the kitchen/diner directly into the first floor lounge, a relaxing room with a TV, DVD, and a balcony which affords far reaching views over the farm and beyond. The master bedroom is also on the first floor, a pleasant double room with a co ordinating wardrobe and dressing table. The bathroom on this floor offers a bath and WC. Outside, guests can enjoy the enclosed patio area in front of the cottage, where they will find a picnic table making it ideal for enjoying alfresco meals. There is ample parking available.
