Nestled in an idyllic position with splendid rolling hill and countryside views, this magnificent home is close to the historic town of Hawick with its excellent leisure and shopping facilities. The immediate area is a paradise for walkers and bikers with country tracks and forest trails including the Southern Upland Way close at hand. Enjoy salmon and trout fishing on the River Teviot and the famous nearby Tweed or play a round of golf at numerous local courses. Born in the Borders offers a great day out with grass sledging, brewery and distillery. Visit the grand stately homes of Abbotsford, Mellerstain and Manderson or Floors and Thirlestane castles. This is a fantastic base to explore the Borders and is also within touring distance of Edinburgh, Cumbria and Northumberland. There is a substantial south terrace with a seating area perfect for al fresco dining, which can be accessed directly from the lounge, with planted borders and a mass of spectacular rhododendrons. There is also a wonderful tennis court and a summer house. The grounds also boast well established woodland.
