This is an ideal base to explore this beautiful region of Angus. The property is just outside the pretty ancient village of Fettercairn with its Royal Arch which was Queen Victoria s preferred route to Balmoral. There are lots of fantastic places to walk from your doorstep to explore the estate there is a private chapel and resident deer which are fascinating to watch. If you enjoy walking or the great outdoors you are within easy reach of the Cairngorms, the stunning Angus Glens and the beautiful unspoilt coastal beaches. If you fancy a tipple, head to the Fettercairn Distillery to learn more about the Scotch Whisky which will warm you up even on the coldest of days. Entering the property, through its glass hallway which overlooks the lawn and garden, you will find the cosy lounge with open fire, comfy seating, Smart TV, sound bar and coffee machine with window seats to enjoy the views over the grounds. There is a bijou kitchen just off the lounge which is equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave and small fridge. Leaving the lounge and back through the hallway you will climb up the enchanted spiral staircase within the turret and find a king size bedroom with a luxurious and intimate feel and hidden behind the bedroom area is a unique Jacuzzi bath with shower over and views over the castle, the perfect place to kick back relax and dream! The bedroom also has a separate WC. At the front of the property there is a huge lawned area with water feature, you are also free to explore the woods and estate. There is a private parking area for up to two cars.
