This charming cottage has enough space to accommodate extended families with beautiful views over the Fleet Valley conservation area. The location is excellent for recreational pursuits including walking, fishing, climbing, historical sites and all manner of sailing and water sports on Loch Ken. Take time to visit the local beaches, Threave Gardens and other historical gardens and nurseries. The cottage is within walking distance of the pretty village of Gatehouse of Fleet with its selection of hotels and shops as well as a large play park, golf and tennis. Kippford with its pretty marina is just a short drive away, this is an ideal base to explore the Galloway forest and 7stanes mountain bike tracks, bike storage is available at the property. Entering this lovely house you will find the spacious family lounge with direct access out onto terrace through the French doors. There is a TV / video / DVD, hi fi and iPod dock. From the lounge there is a second smaller lounge with TV and views across the hills and forest. The kitchen is next door with cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer and separate utility room. Headed back through the hallway at the opposite end of the house on the ground floor you will find a king size bedroom and a twin bedroom as well as a bathroom with separate shower and WC. As you head upstairs you will find a king size bedroom with views over the garden, a double and a twin bedroom. There is also a bathroom with separate shower on first floor, making this house ideal for two families enjoying a holiday together who want a little privacy. The garden offers plenty of space for active children to explore with a patio area, seating and BBQ.
