With acres of grounds for you to explore it s easy to forget that you close to the city of Hereford and the town of Leominster. Hereford sits on the banks of the River Wye, surrounded by gently rolling hills and the market town of Leominster is renowned for its eclectic range of antique shops. Rich in history, with Leominster Folk Museum and Weobley with some fine examples of the black and white beamed buildings. Eardisland, home to Burton Court, a 14th Century building which has enjoyed a potted history, has been associated with Henry, Prince of Wales and Owain Glyndwr. Visit Berrington Hall and Hampton Court Castle Estate. For walkers and cyclists, most of the rolling countryside and join the Wye Valley Walk or Offa s Dyke. This beautiful 14th Century country mansion is set at the end of a long private drive, enter the property on the ground floor, simply perfect for entertaining. You will find three large living areas, the lounge with an open fire, the inner hall which can be used as a reception room to enjoy arrival drinks with your guests and the snug, a more compact area designed for comfort where you can curl up in front of the Smart TV and read a book, it can also double as a room where children can play too. A utility room is tucked away with washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a games room with a table tennis arrangement, PlayStation 3 and a cinema area. So, when the day is done climb the stairs where you will find nine beautiful bedrooms. These include, a super king size zip and link (which can be made up as a twin on request) with en suite shower room and WC, a further super king size zip and link (which can be made up as a twin on request), two king size bedrooms both with en suite shower rooms and WC, two king size bedrooms which share a Jack and Jill en suite shower room and WC, a further two king size bedrooms and finally, a double. There is a further bathroom with separate shower, bath and WC and a shower room with shower and WC also on the first floor. The immediate grounds are the perfect backdrop for any celebration with five acres, much of which is landscaped to showcase the terraces and expansive lawns. There is a summer house, a firepit and an orchard too with many more delightful features to encounter. The gardens are a wonderful place to wander, and for children there is a treasure hunt/nature trail along with a bagatelle of outdoor games like giant Jenga, croquet and a child s swing.
