The pretty fishing port of Lochinver nestles in a lovely picturesque location between the bay and the magnificent mountains of Suilven and Canisp at the heart of Assynt, a stunning area of unspoiled, natural beauty which offers plenty of excellent walking, climbing, mountain biking and angling. Scenic single track roads lead round the coast to Kylesku and to Achiltibuie. There are charming villages and quiet sandy beaches with spectacular views of cliffs, sea and mountains at every turn. Lochinver is also home to a choice of excellent restaurants, craft shops, stores and a pub, all within walking distance from the property. On entering this traditional cottage which is within walking distance of the village and its beautiful waterfront and working harbour, you will find yourself in the welcoming lounge with an open fire (which is available by prior request), TV and hi fi, this is an ideal space for relaxing in after a great day exploring the stunning local area. Moving into the kitchen/diner, you will find an ideally situated dining area, and you will find the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need during your stay including an electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave. Exploring this charming property further you will find a cosy and comfortable twin bedroom, and there is also a bathroom with a shower cubicle and WC. Stepping outside, you can relax and unwind at the end of the day in the delightful enclosed garden which has a pond and a seating area with beautiful views looking out over the village.
