Start your day with a morning stroll to the nearby bakery before pondering plans for the day. Whether you want to set your feet roaming through glen and fell, spend a day dozing by the seashore or checking out the local sights with your family, including the grand baronial Brodick Castle, there will be plenty to whet your appetite before you return to roost in your private retreat. A decadent affair, this regal property has received the greatest attention to detail and is bedecked with the finest furnishings, decor and upholstery. Inviting guests to enter from a sweeping staircase, this two level self catering accommodation immediately boasts a refined air whilst still managing to be completely homely. Leave your shoes and coats in the utility room and make yourselves at home. While children will want to waste no time in escaping to the games room (accessed via the hallway), the grown ups can make their way to the well appointed kitchen. Complete with all the appliances you could possibly need and more, and with a breakfast table and chairs, the large kitchen is a great place to chat over a brew and congregate as pans bubble and delicious smells waft from the oven. Next door to the kitchen, a separate dining room lends an extra sense of occasion to meals at home. For leisurely mornings and relaxed evenings, the sumptuous lounge is complete with comfortable sofas, a wood burner effect electric fire and a TV, so you can either spread out board games on the floor, give into a game of trivia or settle in for a film together. Sleeping up to 12 people (as well as your lucky canine chum!) the property has a king size bedroom with an en suite on the ground floor, and five bedrooms on the first floor. Of the upstairs bedrooms, three are king size with en suites, one is a double and the final is a small double with reduced head height the ideal cosy nook for youngsters. Heading outside, doors from the utility room and dining room take you to the garden, while a rear garden access path leads seawards. A tiered garden with steps to different levels, the enclosed garden is a great place for your pup to let off some steam whilst the kids launch into a game of hide and seek. If you are travelling by car, the property benefits from a private parking space for one car, as well as extra parking a 2 minute walk away.
