What could be better than waking in your own baronial apartment, far from the madding crowd on the ravishing west coast of Scotland. The name of this sublime old house means Sea Meadow', and gazing out from your rooms, you and your family or friends will see why. Oban, the town dubbed Gateway to the Isles', boasts a plethora of festivals and ceilidhs, attracting bagpipers, Highland dancers, musicians and singers from across the world. Jump into a steaming shower before heading to bed; the master king size bedroom has a wonderful en suite with walk in shower, and the former orangery's king size bedroom has access to a shower room and glorious tall windows for maximising the splendid views from your bed. Outside is also simply breathtaking. Fling open the French doors to the small, private terraced garden and follow the steps down to the communal garden, shielded by a castellated sea wall. It's simply magnificent and a fine chance in to drink in the sheer raw beauty of Scotland.
