Enthusiastic walkers and dog owners will love exploring the many footpaths that lead straight from the front door through the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and those looking to soak up the local culture can enjoy the world renowned summer concerts at Glyndebourne Opera House or explore historic locations such as Lewes and Alfriston. Other local highlights include Ashdown Forest which is home to the renowned Pooh Corner, and the Rathfinny Wine Estate, one of Europe s largest privately owned vineyards. Enter this grade II listed cottage directly into the lounge with two comfy sofas where guests can relax and watch the Smart TV/DVD while the wood burner creates a cosy atmosphere. A separate dining room which is light and airy with a sunny aspect and views over the garden it is an ideal setting for sharing meals and leads through to the well equipped kitchen. With a range style electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Ascending the cottage style staircase to the first floor, guests will find two bedrooms: a double and a bunk room. Finishing the accommodation is a bathroom with a hand held shower over the bath and a separate shower cubicle and WC. For those who enjoy their relaxation outside, the cottage has an enclosed front garden enabling children to play safely in the playhouse or on the slide. A picnic table offers al fresco dining opportunities during the warmer months and private parking for one car is available with additional roadside parking (subject to availability). There is also a universal pod point for electric vehicle charging.
